Australia's Supermarket Duopoly is getting its own Dystopian Film... and Aussies might just love it.

I remember apples - feature film

The Story

Sixteen-year-old Tom is given a school assignment about Australia's supermarket duopoly.
His imagination takes him into a dystopian Australia where food has become a luxury, apples are displayed like diamonds, and ordinary people struggle to survive.

A Film for an Australian Audience

I Remember Apples has the potential to become an Australian hit for one simple reason: its audience already exists.

Australians have grown increasingly frustrated with the power of our supermarket giants. Food prices, corporate profits and the cost of feeding a family have become national conversations.
Almost every Australian has an opinion about Coles and Woolworths.

I Remember Apples takes that frustration and transforms it into cinema: a dark, imaginative story about hunger, inequality and the power of those who control our food.
This isn't a subject we need to convince Australians to care about. They already do.
